I had the opportunity to create a custom graffiti art project for the Das Glemm Hotel in Saalbach, focusing on the hotel\u2019s regional ties and atmosphere.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/section>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/section>\n\t\t\t\t

In this artwork, I have artistically incorporated the region\u2019s two most iconic mountains\u2014the Zw\u00f6lferkogel and the Schattberg. It was important to me not to depict the Alpine landscape in a traditional way, but rather to integrate it into the overall composition in a modern and artistic form. This created a connection between urban graffiti art and the distinctive surroundings of Saalbach Hinterglemm.<\/p>

Thanks to warm colors, flowing lines, and an open layout, the space now feels much more inviting and brighter. The goal was to transform a functional passageway into a space with its own unique atmosphere that blends harmoniously into the hotel.<\/p>

This project demonstrates how custom-designed wall art can transform spaces and give them a unique character. As a graffiti artist based in Austria, I find it particularly exciting to create works of art that not only have a visual impact but also establish a connection to the location and the architecture.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

After my 2023 European tour, during which I spray-painted large-scale murals in ten countries\u2014my largest one measuring a whopping 180 m\u00b2\u2014I am now embarking on my next big adventure: my first wall art project in Tokyo and my debut in Asia.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/section>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/section>\n\t\t\t\t

For me, this project is more than just another stop. It's the start of a major undertaking: to design at least one wall on every continent. Unlike my whirlwind tour of Europe, I want to implement this new international art project in several separate stages\u2014that makes planning and organization a lot more relaxed.<\/p>

Whether a mural can even be created in Antarctica one day remains to be seen. At the moment, I am enjoying Japan's creative energy, working on new artworks, and looking forward to exciting collaborations.<\/p>

Over the past few weeks, I had the opportunity to realize a particularly exciting project: As a spray artist, I was allowed to paint the stage design for the musical \u201cAugustin\u201d (premiere of the AVB). Over a period of six weeks, I worked intensively on the realization - a creative, but also very labor-intensive phase.<\/p>

In addition to the large-scale stage set, I also painted the props and color-coordinated them with the scenery. It was important to me to emphasize the atmosphere of the play with my art and bring the world of \u201cAugustin\u201d to life.<\/p>

The close interaction with the ensemble was particularly nice. I was able to get to know many of the actors, which gave me a very informative insight behind the scenes.<\/p>

It was my second stage design - and definitely another highlight in my artistic career. I am proud of the result and grateful for the experience.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

When walls speak - art in dialog with architecture<\/h3>

With the final creative touches, the new building has become a real eye-catcher - a large-scale mural now sets a vibrant, colorful accent on the boundary wall. This work of art is more than just decoration: it is a successful example of how modern architecture and urban art can complement and enrich each other in an inspiring way.<\/p>

The clean lines of the new building harmonize perfectly with the dynamic shapes and colors of the mural - creating an exciting interplay between design, function and artistic expression. Such projects show how creative cooperation can create spaces that are not only used but also experienced.<\/p>

What could be more oppressive than a huge concrete wall right next to a playground? Exactly - hardly anything! Welcome to \"Hamsterhausen\"<\/h3>

Based on the color concept and the style of the bread and experience world, the design of this mural was also implemented in the same look.<\/strong><\/p>

A colorful work of art in a lively comic style was created to match the playground. In the middle of the picture is mascot Anton Kornmeister, flanked by his siblings Amelie (left) and Valentin (right). The wall reaches over 3.5 meters at its highest point - which made a creative design all the more important, as the original grey surface previously appeared very dominant and intimidating.<\/p>

The cheerful color scheme and the purposefully placed image elements turned this effect into a positive one - creating an inviting and friendly atmosphere that perfectly matches the playground ambience.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

For a good cause<\/h3>

I was able to spray this 160x160cm painting live at the charity event organized by Lionheart Dogtraining. At the end of the day it was auctioned off for 800\u20ac - all the proceeds will go to the Hellhound Foundation. There, dedicated people work wholeheartedly to save dogs from being euthanized. They take care of these often very aggressive system-destroyers and invest every spare minute in their resocialization.<\/p>

I am very pleased that I was able to provide a little bit of support with my spray campaign!<\/p>

A new Habitat<\/h3>

Once the design was finished and the last small changes had been made, it was time for the realization. With countless spray cans, gallons of wall paint and a lot of imagination, I was able to let off steam in this huge aviary. The result? A colorful, playful jungle landscape that might even make Tarzan jealous.\u00a0
Animals, waterfalls, flowers and many other small details have found a new habitat.

Art in the heart of the government district<\/h3>

Within only 6 hours I was able to paint the whole picture, kneeling on the ground. To get a feeling for the dimensions - the blue banner (right above the work) is 1x2m in size.<\/p>

The work picks up on the striking forms of the architecture around it and playfully reflects them.\u00a0<\/p>

1 long (rainy) day<\/h3>

The event took place on the day of open child and youth work, next to the youth center Halle NEUN. The picture stretches over the entire length of the train of around 26 meters. We only had one day as a group. That's why we started early in the morning and sprayed the last details at 10pm with the help of flashlights. What's more, it rained all day and the temperatures were almost in the single digits. The organizers were very keen and decided to cover the wagons with huge tarpaulins to keep the surfaces dry.<\/p>

Four days full of color<\/h3>

The festival took place in Amstetten for the fourth time in a row. On this weekend, (inter)national artists were invited to artistically design the gray walls of the city. This year I was allowed to paint the ice rink (Stadionstra\u00dfe 12, 3300 Amstetten). Due to the size and level of detail, I started on Thursday, two days before the festival started. That was a very good decision, because due to the heat of over 32\u00b0C I had to take more and longer breaks to avoid collapsing.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

Back to the start<\/h3>

However, before I could start spraying the actual painting, I had to prime the bare concrete wall with deep primer. I then painted the entire surface twice with white facade paint. But why go to all this effort and not just spray the concrete? \nTo put it simply: I work precisely and always want to deliver the highest quality. And that includes preparing the substrate for graffiti in the best possible way. The better the base, the longer you can enjoy the mural.\nI was very happy to be able to work with a telescopic lifting platform. This makes painting much easier and saves a lot of strength. Over the course of four days, you would gain a lot of height with a ladder.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/section>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/section>\n\t\t\t\t

The concept<\/h3>

The picture should not only look beautiful, but also tell a story. On the right-hand side you can see a little girl reading her dream diary. On the left are the individual diary pages with her dreams\/wishes - these are also the different areas of the AVB. Next to it is the child as an adult woman. Happy because her dreams have come true. You can also see a light blue line flying across the picture. This can be seen as a connection between the present and the future.<\/p>

Sprayer and stage design?<\/h3>

At the beginning of the year, I received a very unusual request. Namely, whether I could paint the stage set for the musical \u201cWe Will Rock You\u201d in Amstetten. Naturally, I was immediately on board. Such unusual projects are extremely exciting and instructive.\nMy task was to spray paint a rustic\/rusty look. 6 weeks of hard work<\/h3>

Such a large project is not realized overnight. Over a period of 6 weeks, I single-handedly sprayed the ~120m\u00b2 area piece by piece and artistically designed countless props. But it was also very exciting to see what else was going on behind the scenes and the precision with which the entire team put the \u201cMusical Summer\u201d together.\u00a0<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

The stage was rocked<\/h3>

I had a lot of respect for the project, especially at the beginning. I didn't know exactly what to expect, how the realization would work and in general - it was a new situation. I am all the more proud to have stepped out of my comfort zone and to have rocked the stage set. It was an incredibly beautiful moment to see the finished work in all its glory after so many weeks of hard work.

How it all started!<\/strong><\/h3>

It started with the decision to quit my job as a social pedagogue to become a full-time artist. Not an easy step, but I wanted to take my happiness into my own hands and fulfill one of my biggest dreams.<\/p>

The Route

I traveled alone through Europe. My only companion: my converted small car. It was my sleeping place, studio, kitchen and workplace. 1.Station \u2011 Trnava (SVK)<\/h3><\/div>

My first stop took me to Trnava in Slovakia. After half a year of planning, I was finally ready to go. I was able to spray my first wall and was over the moon.<\/p>

I continued across the hinterland to Hungary. On my first attempt, I was driven away from the wall. One day later I had more luck and got my place. The result was a very dynamic and aggressive work.<\/div>

3.Station \u2011 Osijek (HRV)<\/h3><\/div>
I continued on to Croatia. I had now arrived in the middle of the tour. Nevertheless, the heat got the better of me. At 39 degrees Celsius, I sprayed an 11-meter-wide mural. I had to stop in between because the heat was making my eyes black. But I was able to keep going and finish the work.<\/div>

4.Station \u2011 Ljubljana (SVN)<\/h3><\/div>
I left the heat and headed for Slovenia in the rain. I found a beautiful wall in the middle of the city. It's an old prison wall with a lot of charm. My 4th stop and I was already running out of energy. A second day's break was on the agenda.<\/div>

My second stop in Italy. I went to South Tyrol. Inspired by the gigantic Dolomites, I created a picture of a golden eagle. The entire underpass now shines in a new design.<\/div>

I continued over the Fl\u00fcela Pass (2500m) into Switzerland. When I crossed the mountains, it wasn't just the 15-year-old car that was left breathless, but me too. The sight of the mountain peaks was amazing. In Biel, I sprayed a woman floating in time.<\/div>

Then I went to France. In Belfort, I sprayed the violin player. She plays calmly in front of an empty stadium. She symbolizes that you should pursue your dreams. No matter whether you get encouragement or not - you should do what makes you happy.<\/div>

Another stop in France was in Nancy. I sprayed on an abandoned railroad line. I had now been on the road for almost 2 months. I was always alone and lived in isolation. It wasn't always easy for me. But I was able to grow and learn a lot for my life.<\/div>

10.Station \u2011 Mainz (GER)<\/h3><\/div>
My last stop took me to Germany. There I was able to design a 180m^2 wall. It was the biggest work I have ever sprayed in my life. I was commissioned by the state capital of Mainz to spray a Gutenberg mural. The highway was partially closed especially for me. That was an amazing feeling and an unbelievably great end to the tour.<\/div>

In the last two months came again a lot of paint on the wall. Among other things, I sprayed my first container - it was great! However, there is also a big change in my life.<\/p>

But before I went to St.P\u00f6lten. I was commissioned by the Beta Campus to design the new location at Raiffeisen Corner. I was given a large office wall, which is enthroned on the third floor above the rooftops of the city. I picked up the color concept from the modern space and created a geometric abstract mural. I spent the first half day taping off the room. In doing so, I had to work very neatly and accurately, since everything was already set up. I spontaneously stayed an extra day in the Lower Austrian capital to spray another wall in public space. Completely free without specifications and time stress. After I had found a nice wall I decided to spray a sitting child. This one is now thinking there and looks into an empty space. The left-facing gaze can be associated with the fact that it looks into the past. With a free wall continued in Waidhofen an der Ybbs. At the old Bene factory I designed a woman's portrait with neon effect. It continued with a really special project for me. Namely, I got the opportunity to spray my first container. An object that has a totally urban flair with its metal surface and has great appeal to spray. I chose as a motif of a lying woman who has an open book lying on her chest. She lies dreamily in nature and runs in her imagination through different worlds.<\/p>

Also my first exhibition I could already hold this year. In the Rothschild Castle in Waidhofen an der Ybbs I am currently exhibiting in the one-picture gallery. Next on my project list was a lot of nostalgia. In honor of the narrow-gauge railroad, also known as the \"Bemp\", I designed fan shirts and had them printed on my own. Fortunately, even the N\u00d6N reported about it. You can read the article here:

That was it with me already again. Or rather, there is one more major change in my life that I would like to tell you about. I have decided to focus my life fully on art and to be a full-time artist. That means no more part time job and full focus on the spray cans. It was not an easy decision, because I was very happy in my social pedagogical profession. However, the time is now ripe for a new path and I want to dare now. I don't know what the future holds, but I'm incredibly excited about it. As my first official act as a full-time artist, I also already have a very large art project in planning. The last few weeks a lot has happened in this regard and all my time runs into the planning - but you will learn more about it in the next letter!<\/p>
